HAIR CARE Tips

Long and Healthy hair

Hi my beautiful friends I am finally doing this . I am sharing with you same ideas that has helped me grow my hair long and nourish it. Since I have long hair I am often asked questions related to my hair. So I thought it would be great to share it with you.

1. The right hairbrush

Now, this might not sound that important but believe me you need to find your right hairbrush because we spent a lot of time untangling our hair which causes breakage. And ultimately it shall effect the length and thickness. Long teethed brush is perfect for me due to the length of my hair. Wooden brushes could be an option since they observe excess oil in your hair. And yes everyone has a different choice and comfort so go find yours.

  • I brush my hair before going to bed and I just gently massage my hair for the proper circulation that ultimately keeps  your scalp healthy.

2. How often do you wash your hair ?

Our hair produces natural oil which has no artificial alternatives. So, we want to make sure we aren’t washing it every single day. As it makes your hair brittle and prone to breakage. If we do so it can’t work to it’s full potential furthermore washing it before it actually works decreases it’s production. If that makes any sense to you. My people let your hair do it’s job for at least 4 days. Don’t over wash. But yes get your body washed because people around you aren’t going to tolerate .

  • I wash my hair in 6 days in winter and in 4 days in summer or it depends on how oily my hair is.

3. Oil and hair mask.

I am not someone who would oil my hair a lot because I don’t seem to enjoy it. But what I do is as soon as I come out of shower I apply oil in the ends of my hair (just a little) that way it’s not going to be so oily and your hair gets what it needs. Also make your own hair mask and apply at least once a month.

Here is how I make mine

You will need :    1.Banana (one)    2.olive oil or coconut oil (2 tablespoons)

                            3.honey (1 tablespoon)  4.milk (2 tablespoons)

Mix them all and your hair mask is ready . You can add avocado as well.

  • I use this mask in every three weeks and it is magical and also good in taste.

4. Shampoo and Conditioner

How long have you been using the same shampoo and conditioner brand ? Now, I am someone who don’t stick to the same brand because you are constantly providing the same nutrition. For example the shampoo you might be using now has Keratin but ceramide might be missing. I change my shampoo brand once in every six months. This kind of helps to balance my hair and keeps my hair healthy, strong and shiny.

  • My all time favorite shampoo is the L’ORÉAL PARiS TOTAL REPAIR 5 so I just alternate other shampoos with this one.
  • I also add few drops of tea tree  oil to my hair shampoo which prevents Dandruff in the scalp.

5. Others

Trim your hair frequently in four month or so.This might sound funny that cutting hair helps you grow it better and longer. But it does your hair will grow faster and also your hair looks tidy and beautiful.

Don’t over brush your hair and use heatless hair styling methods if you really wish for a healthy hair. Avoid tight hair elastics that causes breakage to yout hair. Use scrunchies instead of these tight elastics which are velvet soft.

Drink a lot of water and eat healthy foods. Because what you eat shows in the body.

And yes all hair type is beautiful thank you guys so much for sticking till the end.

Summer collection 2018 Part 2

Vibrant colors and Engaging look

Hi my beautiful people I am literally baked this summer as the temperature is rising steeply. So a light, cool and comfortable yet fancy look is all what I am tending to create everyday. And I am super excited to share one of them with you.

I still continued the skirt legacy and that vibrant color look. I mean why not it’s summer girls go crazy with colors and shine brighter than the sun. And here it’s yellow one of my favorites. Moreover, this leather boot is the cherry on cake. It pulls the whole look to another level and is super comfy.
,

And for accessories my clear vintage spectacle and this adjustable local jewellery was a perfect match I tell you. But then get creative and add your own layer of these accessories.

This look is perfect for everyday purpose and kind of gives the feeling
of perfect blend between casual and formal look.  I wore them for an outing with my school friends and I was surely comfortable to walk around the streets in Thamel . And as I am writing this it reminds me of the song “laijau ghumauna malai Thamel bazar.”
